A recent official video report unveils that China’s carrier-based fighter J-15 is capable of refueling the same type of fighters.
Two J-15 fighters can be seen in the video, one of which was requiring refueling from another, different from past inflight refueling exercised performed by aerial tankers like H-6DU and IL-76.
This is regarded as a significant progress for China’s carrier-based aircrafts, which will help resolve the limited fuel carried by J-15 in order to take off from carriers smoothly.
