The recent scale of the frontline deployment of the Chinese and Indian armed forces has been alleged to have reached the highest level in a decade. According to the official WeChat account of the People’s Liberation Army’s Tibet Military Region “Plateau Warriors” on July 19, a brigade in the Tibet Military Region recently held an equipment award ceremony for spring recruits at a plateau training ground at more than 4,200 meters.
Judging from the pictures of the scene, the recruits equipped this time are equipped with a full set of new individual combat equipment, including “starry camouflage” training uniforms, tactical helmets, and tactical vests. Some soldiers’ tactical vests are fully equipped with 4 magazines.
After the first public appearance at the military parade for the 70th anniversary of the founding of China in 2019, the People’s Liberation Army’s new individual combat equipment is gradually being deployed to the entire army. As the front line of frontier defense, the Tibet Military Region has also become one of the key units for new equipment.
Previously, in August 2020, CCTV reported that officers and soldiers of a composite brigade of the Tibet Military Region had changed into new camouflage uniforms and conducted live-fire drills on the plateau with multiple arms and multiple firearms.
The report pointed out that this is the first time the Synthetic Brigade of the Tibet Military Region made its debut in the military training ground after it was dressed in a new “starry sky camouflage”. Since then, the new-style camouflage uniforms have begun to form a large-scale installation in the Chinese Army.
