Li Gang, the first test pilot of the J-20 fighter, recently expressed in an interview his hope that the future J-20 fighter would be equipped with “binary vectoring engines”, just like those of the F-22.
Some Chinese military analysts believe this proves the future direction of the J-20, but from the content of the interview, this is only Li Gang’s personal expectation, and there is no evidence that the J-20 will be equipped with “binary thrust-vectoring engines” in the future.
