The PL-15 missile, with a range of 150 to 200 km and even rumored to be 300 km, is believed to be a threat to F-35 fighter.
The unit participating in the exercise is the “Du Fengrui heir” unit, which was transferred from the original Division 14 Brigade 40 Squadron 1 “Du Fengrui Squadron” and is the main force on the front line of the Taiwan Strait. The unit was previously equipped with the first batch of J-16s and subsequent batches of J-16s, the second best-equipped unit in the Eastern Theater of China, second only to the J-20 equipped “Wang Hai Brigade”.
