Chinese army rehearses attacking Indian tanks with 120mm rockets

China’s CCTV recently released footage of the Tibetan Military Region’s latest exercise showing the region’s “Plateau Snow Leopard” special operations brigade, which has been equipped with more than 100 Chinese-made third-generation “Mengshi” protected assault vehicles, and a 35mm sniper grenade launcher mounted on a multifunctional remote control weapon rack on top of the assault vehicles.

In addition, Chinese infantrymen armed with Type PF-98A 120mm anti-tank rocket launchers dismounted from the vehicle and rehearsed attacking a simulated target believed to be an Indian T-72 tank.

Earlier it was reported that anti-tank weapons such as HJ-10 anti-tank missile were also deployed to the Tibetan military region to deal with tensions along the Sino-Indian border.

Other photos show that the PLA has deployed JM-8 “python” tracked all-terrain vehicles along the border.
