The official microblog of China Air Force Online released a promotional video for the 2021 flight recruitment on Jan. 5, Beijing time, and at the end of the video, the latest image of H-20 bomber appears.
In the video, the pilot lifts the curtain draped over H-20 and projects a clearer picture of the real H-20 on his helmet goggle.
On January 12, China’s CCTV defense and military channel again released a propaganda animation of H-20 covered by a curtain, this time not only changing the color of the curtain to bright red, but also marking a clear time for the first time: “2021, let’s expect…”.
Some analysts say that if the news released by China’s CCTV is true, it means that H-20 is likely to make its debut in 2021. Combined with the recent intensive statements by the Chinese Air Force, AVIC International and other official media of China, the possibility of the H-20 making its first flight in 2021 is still very high, and it is likely to be in the first half of the year. Before the National Day parade on October 1, 2019, AVIC had hinted that H-20 would be unveiled soon.
In addition, CCTV also released another new type of weapon covered with a curtain, which is speculated to be a type 003 large aircraft carrier, which could be launched also in 2021.
