Following the UFO-like helicopter displayed in Tianjin Direct Expo, on the Changchun Air Force Open Day, China also showed a “new gadget” – a model of “airborne aircraft carrier” for the so-called “Nantianmen Project”.
The five-day China Changchun Air Force Open Day debuted on October 21st, Beijing time. China’s most advanced stealth fighter J-20, performed a two-aircraft formation with missiles. And Y-20 transport aircraft and J-16 multi-purpose fighter aircraft also appeared.
According to the information disclosed on the Chinese internet, in the ground show on the open day, China also unveiled a program called “Nantianmen Project”, while the official said that this is just an aviation-themed immersive experience project.
The exhibition board of “Nantianmen Project” wrote that the latest directive from the joint command center of Nantianmen project says that to ensure the successful completion of the equipment plan for the first “deep space strategic strike cluster” of human beings, a team for human beings to effectively resist alien civilization will be built as soon as possible. And from October 2050, the Changchun Base of Nantianmen Project will undertake the improved test mission of the new airborne unmanned aircraft named “Xuannv”.
As one of the core equipment of the Nantianmen project, “Xuannv” fighter is responsible for the task of capturing accusations and long-range precision strikes in future wars. The mission will focus on optimizing the adaptation of the aircraft to the large-scale strategic air-to-air platform of the “ostrich”, and cooperate with the new unmanned tactical armor equipped by the orbital airborne troops, in order to complete the joint training mission according to the established plan.
Update:
The “Nantianmen Project” is an aerospace sci-fi IP proposed by AVIC (Aviation Industry Corporation of China), but it is claimed that many of the weapons and equipment involved are currently being secretly developed by the PLA (People’s Liberation Army).
Reportedly, the “Nantianmen Project” is a comprehensive space technology research program that blends rich imagination with advanced technology. This project, created by AVIC Global, includes many new military concepts such as the “Baidi” and “Xuannv” space fighters and the space carrier “Luanniao”. Just hearing these names can spark unlimited imagination.
In August 2023, “CCTV Military” publicly released a conceptual video of the “Nantianmen Project,” specifically the space carrier project. The video also showcased new weapons such as a soldier’s electromagnetic gun, space fighters, and a particle accelerator cannon, leaving a profound impression.
The main platform of the “Nantianmen Project” is the “Luanniao” space carrier. In ancient Chinese mythology, “Luanniao” is a mythical bird symbolizing peace and tranquility, aligning with the concept of defending peace.
The primary aircraft equipped on the “Luanniao” is the “Xuannv” space fighter, a futuristic unmanned model. The “Xuannv” has a very sci-fi appearance, with meson circulation generators on both sides of its body, providing it with powerful maneuverability, as well as stealth and highly intelligent capabilities. This stealth unmanned fighter is driven by an induced force field and equipped with high-speed weapons, even featuring a “particle accelerator cannon.”
Some sources suggest that the “Luanniao” space carrier may be equipped with a mecha weapon named “Chengying.” Given that this is a future concept model, there is unlimited room for creative possibilities.
From the current technological standpoint, the “Luanniao” scheme is extremely advanced, and many technologies may be difficult to achieve at present. However, CCTV, as an official media outlet, still provided a detailed introduction to this plan.
According to reports, some American media claim that China’s “Nantianmen Project” is a trap designed to lure the United States into an arms race, similar to how the US once dealt with the Soviet Union. The Chinese side is allegedly using this tactic against the US. It is claimed that technologies previously proposed by the US, such as hypersonic weapons, electromagnetic catapults, integrated electric propulsion systems, dual-pulse solid rocket engines, mid-course missile defense, railguns, and dual-band radar, were concepts intended to mislead China, but China has made breakthroughs in these technologies.
