According to Chinese military analyst Yuan Fang, judging from the current development of countries around the world, the closest concept to the six-generation fighter is undoubtedly “Gongji-11” unmanned combat aircraft program that China exhibited at the October 1st National Day Parade.
And the high-profile debut on the military parade indicates that the aircraft might have begun mass production of its first batch.
According to voice-over of the military parade, “the exact target of the enemy’s deep target can be accurately hit”, so its combat radius will not be short.
According to the aerodynamic layout, the seamless tail-wing layout itself gives excellent stealth performance, and even the engine nozzle is invisible, showing that the stealth effect of the aircraft could be the strongest in the world.
Secondly, in respect of strike ability, the built-in bomb bay of the aircraft may carry a certain degree of precision strike ammunition. Through its good stealth performance, it can fly over the target and launch its ammunition. It is still uncertain whether the aircraft has the ability to fly in “near space” or “sub-orbital”.
At present, China’s near space aircrafts (including missiles) are no less than four types, and is the world’s largest and the only country that has conquered the height of the adjacent space. Under such circumstances, if Gongji-11 (GJ-11) itself can fly to this height, then any interception system in other countries cannot threaten it.
Besides, it is also necessary to point out that the aircraft can also be matched with J-20 fighter. Wuzhen-8 near space surveillance aircraft will be responsible for the dynamic monitoring of the enemy’s every move, and J-20 fighter and GJ-11 formation will skillfully go for covert approach. GJ-11 with precision strike ammunition can destroy nodes that threaten J-20, such as anti-stealth radars and air defense systems.
And J-20 fighter can beat other ground targets. When the enemy’s aviation and air defense systems are disarmed, follow-up J-16 and J-7A can unscrupulously strike enemy’s ground forces.
According to Yuan’s analysis, such a strike system could be very powerful. From this point of view, the power of GJ-11 cannot be underestimated.
