India’s homemade aircraft carrier VIKRANT has been under construction for over 10 years, and has been launched for three times, but not finished yet. In a recent interview, Chinese expert Fang Bing said, India will finally complete its homemade aircraft carrier.
According to Fang Bing, Indian carrier’s embarrassment is caused by too complicated adoption of equipment from multiple countries, including those from Britain and Russia. And the compatibility among these devices are surely a big problem.
However, Fang claimed that India will surely finish Vikrant because “it has built a hull for it after all”. Since India spent more than 30 years on developing Arjun Main battle tank and LCA Fighter, it could spend 50 years on building a carrier.
